Golspie in Bloom

GOLSPIE IN BLOOM was formed in the early 1980s by a group of local retired people who wanted to enhance the look of the village to both locals and tourists by displaying plants and flowers throughout the Main Street.  In 1983 Golspie got Highly Commended in Britain in Bloom's annual competition in "Scotlands Best Kept Village" section.

Today, the group are continuing their good work, not just on the Main Street but throughout the Harbour area and the Shore Street car park.  The village comes alive from Easter onwards with planters, tubs and plots producing a mass of colour which helps to keep a cheery, happy atmosphere throughout the village.
